Main Features
A powerful, flexible application designed to work for you.
PayrollThis simplifies and speeds up the payroll cycle, as most elements of the process have a default value based on a logical process. You only have to manage the exceptions.
By configuring earnings and deductions, you can perform complex calculations using each employee's current and YTD data. Calculations and rates can be given in units, earnings, as a fixed value or as a combination of the three.
This enables you to automate specific payments or certain upcoming changes to employee files (paid vacation time or bonuses, hourly rate changes, etc.) effective for the period or on the date of your choice.
This feature helps you manage the deduction to be made on advances. It will automatically recover amounts paid in advance at the time of the next processing. You can even set a maximum per employee to spread out the total amount to be recovered.
IP Payroll covers payrolls in all Canadian provinces and territories. It can also process payroll for several different companies individually or in an integrated manner. Group configuration enables flexible payroll distribution and accounting.
This feature helps you manage pay scales. Rates are updated automatically, and a list of modified employee files helps you follow up on the modifications in real time on the day they're made.
IP Payroll can process transactions specific to the Quebec construction industry and produce the monthly report for the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ). If needed, you can process both CCQ-regulated and other data at the same time.
IP Payroll covers all aspects of CSST data management, including calculation of the employer's refund and managing employee advances. We also offer a tool to calculate advances using the 90% rule for the first fourteen days.
The system lets you cancel payments. In fact, IP Payroll automatically corrects the year-to-date amounts, the accounting distribution and can recalculate and adjust the employment insurance history after a cheque has been cancelled.
You can choose your settings and customize control mechanisms. There are verification lists for you to validate what you've prioritized. Warning messages will appear in case of an anomaly (maximum reached, empty bank, etc.)
This feature helps you manage deductions yet to be made to an employee's pay. The amounts owed appear in the employee's file in the section for carried-over deductions. You won't have to manually manage the recovery of pending.
This feature helps you to manage outstanding cheques and to easily reconcile various salary accounts. The feature keeps a record of the cheques issued manually or automatically, as well as the method of payment.
We accept all regular pay frequencies (weekly, bi-weekly, semi-monthly, monthly and annually). You can even set a different pay frequency for different groups of employees.
Payroll cost distribution varies according to the nature of the amounts. Gross salaries and expenses are divided by assignment. The units can also be distributed in the general ledger.
This feature lets you make the same type of change to several employee files at once, such as the hourly rate, salary per period, and number of hours per payroll, etc.
This feature helps you manage the files of employees who have worked in more than one province in the same year. You can display either the file's complete information or sort it by province.
Both versions of the attendance calendar (summary or detailed) provide an overview of your employees' attendance over a one-year period.
With this feature, all changes made to an employee file are saved. This includes the date, reason, author of the change, previous value, etc.
This feature automates the main time bank calculations and provides a view of employee bank balances. Displayed information includes accumulations, reference dates, amount paid to date, etc.
