1. Will my data and my employees’ personal information be safe when I send them to Nethris?You have nothing to worry about: all data transferred through PC Payroll are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption, the most secure Internet exchange protocol currently available in North America. 2. What are the system requirements for using PC Payroll on a workstation?To optimize your PC Payroll use, make sure that your system meets the following minimum system requirements:
- A 32- or 64-bit processor running at 1 GHz
- One of the following operating systems: Windows XP® (Service Pack 3), Windows Vista® Professional et Windows 7® Professional
- 512MB of RAM (1GB recommended)
- 150MB of disk space 1
- A high-speed Internet connection and a Web browser with a 128-bit, SSL V3 encryption protocol, (for data transfer)
Yes. Thanks to the Data Extractor and Report Generator options (Microsoft® Access), you can quickly design simple or even complex reports, tailored to your needs.
4. Can PC Payroll help me manage my group insurance?Yes, with the Group Insurance option, you can manage your policy's various types of coverage and groups. The system will calculate premiums for you and, if you like, include a breakdown of the deductions on your employees' pay slips.
5. Can I process the payroll for several companies with a single PC Payroll license agreement?Yes. You do not need a separate license for each company whose payroll you would like to process. Rather, the PC Payroll software license agreement determines the number of workstations that the software may be installed on.
6. Will I be able to view my payroll documents online even if I use PC Payroll?Yes. All reports, pay slips, Records of Employment and tax slips can be directly viewed and downloaded online using our Nethris Internet Suite solution, at no extra charge. What's more, certain documents may be kept for up to seven years to comply with government requirements.
7. If I opt for your PC Payroll solution, will my employees be able to view their pay slips online?Yes. If your business has subscribed to the Self-Service module, all of your employees will have secure access to our Nethris Internet Suite to view and print their pay slips.
8. Can I transfer my payroll data into my accounting system electronically?Yes. With the General Ledger Interface option, you can electronically transfer your payroll accounting entries to several types of accounting software, such as: Accpac®, Acomba (Fortune 1000), Dynabec, NetSuite®, Quasimodo, Simply Accounting®, Yardi®, etc.
9. Can I use it to prepare the payroll for employees in the construction industry?Yes. Our Telephone Payroll solution fully caters to the needs of Quebec’s construction industry entrepreneurs. Salary and social benefit contribution rates are automatically updated in our systems, to comply with the Commission de la construction du Québec (CCQ) rates. We also generate a monthly report to meet the CCQ’s requirements.
10. Can I import payroll transactions to PC Payroll?Yes, you can import payroll transactions from time clocks or time sheets following the format of our import page.
