Nethris Internet Suite – FAQ
1. What types of company does the Nethris Internet Suite cater to?The Internet Suite is just as useful to businesses with fewer than 10 employees as it is to those with hundreds. This solution can handle any payroll, from the most simple to the most complex.
2. Do I have to subscribe to all Nethris Internet Suite modules?No. The Nethris Internet Suite has a modular design. Simply put, you can choose whichever modules and options you actually need. Only the Payroll module is mandatory.
3. Can I view my payroll documents online?Yes. Reports, pay slips, Records of Employment and tax slips (T4, relevé 1, etc.) are kept and can be quickly accessed online in PDF format. Depending on the type of document, they can be kept for up to seven years to comply with government requirements.
4. Is it safe to send my data and my employees' personal information using the Nethris Internet Suite?You don't have to worry about transferring data over the Nethris Internet Suite because data are protected by the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) protocol with 128-bit encryption, the most secure Internet exchange protocol currently available in North America. 5. Can the Nethris Internet Suite help me manage my employee files or other personnel-related tasks?Yes. The Nethris Internet Suite lets you manage your employee files as well as other areas of human resources. However, if you opt for the Human Resources module, Professional Edition, you'll have access to many more options. You can manage performance evaluations, complaints, disciplinary measures and training. You can even attach documents to your employee files and add your own fields.
6. Can my employees use the Nethris Internet Suite to fill in their weekly time sheets?Yes. The combination of the Time and Attendance module and the Self-Service module can be used to delegate the entry of worked hours to managers or directly to employees. Then all you need to do is check the data.
7. Can my employees view their pay slips online?Yes, if your company has subscribed to the Self-Service module, each of your employees will enjoy access to our secure site so they can view and print their pay slips.
8. Can the Nethris Internet Suite help you manage your group insurance?Yes. The Group Insurance option helps you manage your policy's coverage and groups. The system will calculate premiums and, if you want, a breakdown of the deductions can be displayed on your employees' pay slips.
9. Can I transfer payroll data directly to my accounting system?Yes. With the General Ledger Interface option, you can transfer your payroll accounting entries to various accounting programs, such as: Accpac®, Acomba (Fortune 1000), Dynabec, NetSuite®, Quasimodo, Simply Accounting®, Yardi®, etc.
10. Can I make my own reports?Yes. The Report Generator ooption makes it easy for to you design your own report templates, which you can then keep and use as many times as you need to.
11. Can I add fields to the Nethris Internet Suite pages?Yes. The Nethris Internet Suite lets you customize certain interfaces by adding various fields to meet your company's specific needs.
12. Can I use the Nethris Internet Suite to manage training?Yes. If you opt for the Human Resources, Professional Edition module, you can easily manage training.
13. Can this solution manage more complex earnings and deductions?Yes. The Internet Suite can handle complex earnings and deductions, such as statutory holidays, time banks, tips, etc. and can even make certain remittances in your name. To find out more, contact us.
14. Can I prepare the payroll for several companies in a single session?Yes. The Internet Suite is designed for you to be able to prepare payroll for more than one company at a time. You can also limit user access to companies based on the role or permissions granted to the user.
15. What are the system requirements for using the Nethris Internet Suite?- A high-speed Internet connection;
- One of the following web browsers:
- Microsoft® Internet Explorer 6.0;
- Mozilla Firefox® 3.6 (Windows or Mac OS X).
And if needed:
- The free Adobe® Reader® 6.0 software;
- A zip file decompression software, such as WinZip® or Stuffit®.

17. If I have a computer problem and can't access the Nethris Internet Suite, can you help me?Yes. In the event of IT-related problems, one of our payroll masters can enter your data and continue processing your payroll.
